Call for Posters
You are invited to submit a poster to the 2008 Computer Society Bioinformatics Conference (CSB2008). Poster presentations describing original research in the development or application of advanced computational methods for biological problems are welcome. The topics for CSB2008 include, but are not limited to, the following:

Space is limited to 100 posters, and we expect to receive more abstracts than we can accept. The deadline for submission is May 12, 2008.
No exceptions will be made. Presenters of accepted posters will be notified by May 22, 2008. At least one of the poster authors must be
present at the conference.
The size of the poster space is: 36" high x 48" wide (91 x 122 cm). Posters will be affixed to the poster board using pushpins. No
electrical support or internet connections are available in the poster session area.
The abstracts of accepted posters will be published on the CSB2008 Conference CD. There is no restriction on abstract size and no charges associated
with that publication. All attendees of the conference will receive a Conference CD.
The Best Poster will be selected by the Poster Committee and
announced at the awards ceremony.
Guidelines for Abstracts
Abstracts are limited to 250 words or less. Each abstract should have a short, specific title. The body should concisely state the study's
objective, if not clear from the title, its methods, results, and conclusions. It is not satisfactory to say, "the results will be
discussed." Abbreviations should be spelled out in full at first mention, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses, except for common
terms such as DNA.
Authors are strongly encouraged to adhere to these guidelines, as they will be used in evaluating the abstracts.
