Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry (BJOC) Launched
We are pleased to announce the launch of Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, published by the Beilstein-Institut in co-operation with BioMed Central. The journal website is now live, and the first articles have been published. Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry is the first open access journal in organic chemistry, and it widens the scope of journals available through BioMed Central to include chemistry.

Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry is led by Editor-in-Chief Professor Jonathan Clayden of the University of Manchester, UK, and supported by a first class Editorial Advisory Board. The journal publishes outstanding original research on all aspects of organic chemistry and related disciplines and includes full research articles as well as preliminary communications. It covers organic chemistry in its broadest sense, including: organic synthesis, organic reactions and mechanisms, natural products chemistry, chemical biology, organic materials and macro- and supra-molecular organic chemistry.

Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry invites organic chemists worldwide to submit appropriate manuscripts for consideration. The journal offers authors efficient refereeing, rapid publication and high visibility; all publication charges are covered by the Beilstein-Institut and authors retain copyright.
